Math you can see,
and then practise.
These two came out of helping my daughter with her homework. A worksheet tells a kid whether they were right. It does not show them what a fraction is, and it does not keep going until the times tables stop needing fingers. So I built the two apps that do.
Fraction Wheel
A fraction drawn as a wheel, which you turn with your finger. Change the numerator and the slice grows. Change the denominator and the whole thing is cut again. Halves, quarters and eighths land on top of each other, and equivalence stops being a rule to memorise and becomes something you can watch happen.
Times Round Up
Times tables practice that keeps coming back around. It asks, you answer, and the facts you keep missing show up more often than the ones you already own — which is the whole trick, and the thing a paper worksheet cannot do.
Both apps are free to use. No account, no sign-up, no ads, and nothing about your child is collected or sent anywhere — the apps run entirely in the browser on your own device.
Start with Fraction Wheel- Ages Elementary school, roughly the years fractions and times tables are being learned.
- Runs on Any phone, tablet or computer with a browser. iPhone and Android.
- Offline Add to the home screen and they work with no signal, which is useful in a car or a waiting room.
- Privacy No accounts and no tracking. Nothing leaves the device.
- Updates Included. The apps update themselves next time they are opened online.
